First Pakistan Pharma Summit on June 14-15

KARACHI: The Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) has announced that the First Pakistan Pharma Summit will be held on June 14 and 15 at a local hotel. PPMA chairman M Haroon Qasim said that the summit with the theme of ‘Reshaping Pakistan Pharma Industry: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities’ was aimed at bringing great minds together and harvest the fruit of their collective wisdom. He said that Pakistan pharma industry was currently undergoing a transition where he also emphasised that to overcome the situation, the pharma industry needed to anticipate and meet the challenges & opportunities within this evolving landscape to ensure the uninterrupted supply of innovative medicines through research and development. Qasim informed the media that as the event approached, Pakistan Pharma Summit was increasingly becoming a subject to a vibrant debate regarding its future role. – Dailytimes
