ABBOTTABAD: At least seven passengers lost their lives including two women and ten injured in a deadly road accident near Shah Maqsood area in Haripur on early Wednesday, officials said.

According topolice, a passenger bus and a wagon met a head-on collision due to slippery roads and over-speeding, caused by heavy rainfall, leaving seven passengers dead and another ten injured. Two among dead are women, rescuers said.

Police, rescuers and medics were managed to reach the accident site and have almost completed rescue operation.Dead and injured have been shifted to hospital, rescuers and medics said, adding that some injured, critical in condition, need intensive care. – Onlinenews
