Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today reviewed security arrangements put in place at federal capital’s Red Zone following Imran Khan’s threat of leading his followers there.

Federal ministers Khawaja Asif and Chaudhry Nisar briefed the PM about steps taken to ensure protection of public life and important government installations in the zone. Around 40,000 security personnel have been deployed in Red Zone and a comprehensive security plan has been finalized. -nation
