KARACHI: Pakistan’s first ever left-handers club named Left-Handers Club of Pakistan, Karachi (LHCPK) was launched in a simple ceremony held here at the Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Monday.
Present on the occasion were LHCPK president Fasahat Mohiuddin Mohi; general secretary Ali Hasan Sajid, vice president Akbar Ali, former petroleum minister Haji Hanif Tayyab and president KPC Tahir Hassan Khan. It is for the first time in the country’s history that a Left Handers Club is launched which is already affiliated with the Left Handers Club, UK. The basic purpose of the club is to create awareness about the people who work with left hand and possess immense talent and potential.
“Here, we don’t intend to create any discrimination or distinction between the people who write with right hand or the left hand but our aim is to highlight the contribution of left handers who have created history in this world,” one of the speakers said. – Dailytimes
