ISLAMABAD: President Asif Zardari has taken strict notice of electricity loadshedding in the country particularly during Sehr and Iftar timings and called a high-level meeting on Friday (today) at the Aiwan-e-Sadr to discuss the matter.According to sources, the President has called Federal Minister for Water and Power Naveed Qamar and other high officials to clarify the position.
Naveed Qamar will give a briefing on the demand and supply of the electricity.It is to be mentioned that before the arrival of Ramazan, the PEPCO had assured the people that there would be no loadshedding of electricity in the country at Sehr and Iftar timings but as the holy month started, the people faced the worst kind of loadshedding. – Nation
