Inspector General (IG) Islamabad, Wajid Ali Durrani, has been appointed Sindh IG.Wajid Durrani started his government service after passing CSS exam in 1978 and joined police service after completing his training in 1980.It is worth mentioning here that Durrani also served in seven districts of Sindh while he also served as DIG Traffic Karachi and DIG Special Branch.Wajid Ali Durrani was awarded President Police Medal in 1983 and Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal in 1985 in recognition of his performance. – Dunyanews
