Punjab govt has finalized proposals to introduce tax reforms in several sectors in the next budget.
An official of the Punjab’s finance department told Dunya News that it was suggested to impose one-time agricultural income tax on farmers earning more than Rs 300,000 per annum. It is also suggested that provincial general sales tax on services would be expanded, by including big private educational institutions, legal firms, private security agencies, beauty parlours, property developers, swimming pools, in the GST. It is also suggested to increase the token fees of cars according to their engine capacity. – Dunyanews
