KARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will coordinate and extend more support to Karachi Grains and Seeds Merchants Association (KGSMA) to take new initiatives for facilitating the grossers, and traders of grains. This was stated by FPCCI Vice President Muhammad Usman Shaikh in a meeting at Federation House here, said FPCCI press release on Thursday.Shaikh said that grains and rice crops are badly destroyed by the recent flood across the country which has badly affected supply chain.He urged that the Government should react and come up with rectifying measures in this regard.Other issues relating to trade also came under discussion.Muhammad Usman Shaikh also advised the Chairman KGSMA to encourage his Association’s members to aggressively participate in the activities of FPCCI and nominate the representatives on Standing Committees of FPCCI on different subjects and business councils with different countries.The members should also participate in the fairs/exhibitions and trade delegations being planned by FPCCI -APP
