The financially-battered United Arab Emirates will be getting a much-needed economic boost and positive publicity, thanks to U.S. filmmakers.U.S. actor Tom Cruise has announced the next “Mission Impossible” movie will be filmed in Dubai.During a Thursday news conference in the city, Cruise said he has always wanted to produce a movie in Dubai, which he described as a “very cinematic” city.He did not reveal plot details about the new movie, which will be called “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.” However, he did say it will feature scenes from Birj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.The Emirates 24/7 news agency says the “Mission Impossible” movie is expected to premiere in the country at the Dubai International Film Festival in 2011.Last November, the state-run Dubai World real estate and ports conglomerate rattled international financial markets when it asked for permission to delay repayment of billions of dollars worth of debt.
