KARACHI: Public and private educational institutes and offices opened here on Tuesday after Eid-ul-Azha holidays. However, presence in the institutes remained very thin.
Though all the offices and educational institutes had to be functional again from Tuesday as routine, ratio of attendance was every low at private institutions in general and at governmental institutions in particular.
It was seemed that lower cadre staff, including clerks and peons, was present at the offices, while high-ups preferred to enjoy an extra vacation, resultantly no significant work was done in government departments. Meanwhile, people belonging to Ahle Hadith sect slaughtered sacrificial animals on the fourth day of Eid. In this regard several camels were slaughtered at Burns Road. – Dailymail
