KUWAIT CITY: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Monday met the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah who as a special gesture came to the airport to personally greet Prime Minister Ashraf.
The Amir was accompanied by Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad l Sabah.Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf conveyed the best wishes of President Asif Ali Zardari to the Amir of Kuwait His Highness Sheik Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and people of Kuwait.The Amir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said that the participation of Pakistan and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf was of reat significance for the Asian Cooperation (ACD) Summit.
The Amir of Kuwait High Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah expressed the confidence that highest level interaction among Asian countries ill be critical to forge close cooperation among member states of Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD).The Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf thanked the Amir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the government and people of Kuwait or extending an invitation to him for participation in the conference.
