ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusaf Raza Gilani met here on Friday and discussed the overall situation in the country, including energy shortage and law and order.
During the meeting here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, the Prime Minister also briefed the President about Pakistan’s participation in the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Gilani told the President that Pakistan would be represented by Foreign Minister Ms Hina Rabbani Khar and Minister for Climate Change Rana Muhammad Farooq. – APP
