President congratulates Aisam-ul-Haq on winning tennis tournament

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari congratulated Pakistani tennis star Aisam ul-Haq on winning double event of the Gerry Webber Open in Halle, Germany on Sunday.In a message, the President said Pakistani nation is proud of the achievement of Aisam-ul-Haq and wanted him to bring more laurels for the country.Players like Aisam are a source of inspiration for youth, he added.The President assured of the government’s full support to talented players performing well in international tournaments.Aisam-ul-Haq along with his Indian partner Rohan Bopanna defeated  Dutch Robin Haase and Canadian Milos Raonic in the final. – APP
