Eid Milad-un-Nabi to be celebrated with religious fervor today

Eid Milad-un-Nabi would be observed all over the country with religious fervour and respect on Wednesday (today). As per details, Milad-un-Nabi processions would be held in all big and small cities of the country including towns and villages, in this connection government has announced Wednesday as a public holiday.

Milad-un-Nabi processions would be held in different cities including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Karachi, Quetta, Lahore, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, and building and mosque would be illuminated. Strict Security measures would be taken on the routes and places of processions of Eid Milad-un-Nabi and all educational institutions and government offices would remain closed. Punjab government has directed to all District and Tehsil administration officers to take unprecedented security measures.

Meanwhile the preparations have been made for the celebration of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi with religious fervour and respect in twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad. In this connection the main procession of Milad-un-Nabi would start at 9:30 am in the morning from Bunni Chowk and after passing from Circular road, Waris Khan, Murree road, Committee Chowk, Iqbal road, Fowara Chowk, Raja Bazaar, would be ended at central Jamia Mosque Rawalpindi.

The city traffic police Rawalpindi has chalked out the securities plan for the advent of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi and the entry of Tractor trolley, trucks and other heavy vehicles would be prohibited in the city routes in as per plan. Islamabad traffic police have also be chalked out a security plan for Eid-Milad-un-Nabi and also decided to deploy additional security personal during Eid-Milad-un-Nabi processions in the capital city. As per alternative traffic plan the residents of sector G-7 would use Faisal Avenue, Saherwardi road, whereas the residents of G-6 would use embassy road and Jinnah Avenue.

Kashmir Highway from Chand Tarra Chowk to Dhok Kurry Chowk and Saherwardi road from Seventh Avenue to Garden road, G-6/4 would be closed fro traffic due to the Milad-un-Nabi processions. Similarly GPO Chowk to Municipal road would be closed for traffic. – Online News
