LAHORE: CIA Police Model Town division have arrested eight criminals of Arshad Ali dacoit gang including its ringleader, involved in the incidents of murder, dacoity and robbery and has recovered one lakh and 10 thousand in cash, 14 cell phones, one water-pump, one electric meter as well as illegal weapons from their possession.The criminal have confessed 20 cases of murder, dacoity and robbery during preliminary interrogation.
According to the details, on the directive of SSP Investigation Zulfiqar Hameed, SP CIA Muhammad Umar Virk directed Incharge CIA Model Town Inspector Muhammad Fiaz to take effective measures against the criminal gangs involved in murder, dacoity and robbery. SP CIA constituted a special team under the supervision of Sub-Inspector Muhammad Afzal Khan and other police officials. The police team worked hard day and night and collected particulars of theses criminals and arrested its eight culprits, including its ringleader Arshad Ali. The criminals are history-sheeters.
The areas in which these criminal had committed crime include Nishter Colony, Naseerabad, Model Town, Ghalib Market and Kot Lakhpat. The police have recovered one lakh and 10 thousand in cash, 14 cell phones, one water-pump, one electric meter, six pistols and bullets from their possession. The arrested were identified as ringleader Arshad Ali, Sajid Ali, Liaqat Ali, Muhammad Nisar, Imran Haider, Omer Bilal and Allah Rakha.
