Baloch Senators stage token walkout to protest non-completion of Quetta Qalat road

ISLAMABAD: The Baloch Senators staged token walkout from Senate here on Wednesday to protest non-completion of Quetta Qalat road and said that the government is not interested in development work in Balochistan.As per details, the senators belonging to Balochistan staged token walkout from Senate and said that the present government is neglecting Balochistan, as Quetta Qalat road has not yet been completed. During question hour the government told that completion of Quetta Qalat road is being suspended due to deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan.On this juncture, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidry said that the law and order situation is not as worst as the government is saying, he asked the government how many bridges and roads being hit by terrorists in Balochistan but the government is making excuses.Senator Kulsum Perveen said that the government is suspending the development projects in Balochistan to gain corruption. He said that an agreement signed before starting any project but the government is hiding the agreement of Quetta Qalat road.On directives of Chairman Senate Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Senator Ilyas Bilour and Babar Ghauri convince the angry senators to come back into the Senate – Onlinenews
